DÉFENSE ZONE
The photographs published in Défense Zone come from our reports: on the Argentière glacier with the mountain troops and the PGHM (the Gendarmerie’s high-mountain rescue unit), on the bridge of a French Navy ship, in a dugout canoe on the Maroni. Some of these images are now available as prints, so you can keep a little of that terrain at home.

Each poster reproduces a photograph taken during a Défense Zone report, and its product page tells what it shows. The frigate Courbet at sea, a French Navy diver being winched up by helicopter, an officer of the watch facing the sea off French Guiana, a military dugout canoe on the Maroni or a heliborne insertion of the Mountain Commando Group: so many scenes you may have discovered in the magazine.
The full collection brings together more than 90 posters, from the French Foreign Legion to the special forces.
Three finishes, to suit your interior
Each photo can be ordered as:
- Poster only: 200 g semi-gloss photo paper, in A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), 40 × 60 cm or 50 × 70 cm, compatible with a standard frame.
- Black wood or oak frame: print on 200 g matt paper, pine frame and Plexiglas, delivered ready to hang, in A3, 40 × 60 cm or 50 × 70 cm.
- Aluminium: direct print on 3 mm Dibond, matt finish, hanging system supplied, in 40 × 60 cm or 60 × 90 cm.
The black frame gives a graphic wall, oak warms up a room, aluminium offers a frameless look. Nothing stops you mixing all three on the same wall.
Building a wall by theme
Three or four photos from the same theatre tell a story. A few ideas:
- The sea: the French Navy posters, in a black frame.
- The mountains: the mountain troops and the PGHM, on aluminium.
- The jungle: the French Guiana posters, in an oak frame.

Large format for a living space
Above a sofa or a desk, a single photo is enough. Aluminium goes up to 60 × 90 cm and hangs without a frame, thanks to the system supplied. Wide landscapes suit it well, such as the diver being winched up, between sky and sea.

The poster only and the frames come in A3, 40 × 60 cm and 50 × 70 cm. Aluminium comes in 40 × 60 cm and 60 × 90 cm.
Is the frame ready to hang?
Yes. The pine and Plexiglas frame is delivered ready to hang. For aluminium, the hanging system is supplied.
Can I put the poster only in my own frame?
