ARTICLE 2: ORDERS
The automatic recording systems are deemed to constitute proof of the nature and content of the order. Defense Zone confirms acceptance of the order to the customer at the email address provided by the customer. The sale is concluded once Defense Zone has validated payment for the order, that is, from the date on which payment is validated for orders paid online by bank card, or from the date of receipt of payment by cheque. Defense Zone in any event reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute concerning payment for a previous order.

ARTICLE 3: AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS
Our offers and their prices are valid for as long as they are visible on the website. The availability shown when the customer views the website remains dependent on the stock held by Defense Zone and, of course, by the suppliers.

To build our shop window and sales catalogue, we work with databases enriched with the information provided by our suppliers. As this database contains more than a hundred items, not all of them are held in our stores, and our offer is therefore subject to the availability of items from the suppliers.

Only the permanent unavailability of an item from our suppliers results in its removal from our sales offer. In other cases, a new order within a certain period remains possible.

When an ordered product is unavailable, the customer is informed by email or, in the case of an order for several items, on the invoice for the products shipped.

Deadline for delivery of the order: when the order is placed and on the order acknowledgement, a delivery time is communicated to customers. It is calculated by adding the longest availability time of the products to the transit time of the method of transport selected by the customer.
From the time the order is placed until it is shipped, the customer may cancel the order.

Specific cases:

Pre-order items: forthcoming items are offered for pre-order on the website https://defense-zone.com/. This reservation is made with an indication of a release date announced by the publisher when the reservation period opens. This release date may be changed at any time by the publisher, who is solely responsible for marketing its product.

In all cases, Defense Zone endeavours, from the final release date, to ship the items to customers who have reserved them, within the limit of the stock supplied by the publisher for the release day.

ARTICLE 4: PRICES
Prices shown in euros are deemed to be net, excluding shipping costs. This price includes the price of the products and the costs of handling, packaging and storing the products. Prices may be changed at any time without notice, it being understood that items will be invoiced on the basis in force when the order is recorded. All orders are invoiced in euros and payable in euros. Any customs duties or local taxes are payable by the recipient.

ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs include a contribution to the costs of preparation, packaging and postage. Remember to group all your items in a single order. We cannot combine two separate orders, and shipping costs will be charged to you for each of them.

ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT
You have several payment methods offering maximum security guarantees. You can pay:

- By bank or store card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard), directly on the website, in the payment form provided during the ordering process (secure entry with SSL encryption), by entering the card type, your card number without spaces between the digits, the security code (on the back of your card) and the expiry date.

- By PayPal payment

Payment by bank card is therefore completely secure; your order will be recorded and validated as soon as the payment is accepted by the bank.

ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY
We deliver to your home or to a pick-up point. The delivery time comprises the time taken to prepare the parcel plus the transit time. Defense Zone delivers worldwide. The buyer is notified by email of the various stages in the tracking of the order: preparation and delivery.

The delivery time comprises the preparation time and delivery by our carrier. Once the order has been shipped, delivery generally takes a few days. The delivery time (announced by the carrier) in no way commits Defense Zone to a longer time.

ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY - RETURNS - REFUNDS - WITHDRAWAL

The items supplied by https://defense-zone.com/ are new and guaranteed against any defect. They are identical to those sold in traditional retail and come from all the listed publishers and suppliers.

Should an item be defective or not as described, the buyer has 15 working days from receipt of the items to request an exchange or a refund. If the fifteen (15) day period would normally expire on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public or non-working holiday, it is extended until the next working day.

The customer must return the items new or unused, complete and in their original packaging, intact, together with any accessories, instructions for use and documentation (imperatively in their original cellophane wrapping and with the corresponding invoice). In such a situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to contact@defense-zone.com (description and photos attached).

If the right of withdrawal is exercised, Defense Zone is required to refund the sums paid by the customer, free of charge, with the exception of the return costs. The refund is due within a maximum of 14 working days from the date of receipt of the returned parcel(s).

The return shipping costs are then payable by you.

In the event of a refund, we guarantee that it will be made within 14 days or less of the date of receipt of the returned parcel. No cash-on-delivery shipment will be accepted, whatever the reason.

ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP - TRANSFER OF RISK
Ownership of the products shall pass to the purchaser only after full payment of the price by the purchaser, regardless of the delivery date of said products. However, the risks of loss and damage to the products shall pass upon delivery and receipt of said products by the purchaser.

ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Defense Zone is the producer and owner of all or part of the databases making up this website. By accessing this website, the customer acknowledges that the data making it up are legally protected, and in particular undertakes not to extract, reuse, store, reproduce, represent or retain, directly or indirectly, on any type of medium, by any means and in any form whatsoever, all or any qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases on the website accessed.

ARTICLE 11: LIABILITY
The product descriptions in the databases of https://defense-zone.com/ have been entered on the basis of the information provided by the publishers. Defense Zone is not responsible for the content of the works and cannot be held liable to the purchaser. Defense Zone cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure (strike, flood, fire, etc.).

ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW
All the clauses contained in these general terms and conditions of sale, and all the purchase and sale transactions referred to therein, shall be governed by French law.

ARTICLE 13: ACCEPTANCE BY THE PURCHASER
These general terms and conditions of sale and the prices are expressly approved and accepted by the purchaser, who declares and acknowledges full knowledge of them and therefore waives the right to rely on any contradictory document, in particular the purchaser’s own general terms and conditions of purchase, the act of purchase entailing acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
