The foreign ministers of South Korea and Poland will meet in Seoul this Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries, reports the South Korean news agency Yonhap. The two sides had already strengthened their partnership in the defence industry.

South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin plans to discuss the current geopolitical situation with his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Rau. According to the ministry, Rau arrived in Seoul on Monday for a three-day stay. Poland has strengthened its defence-industry cooperation with South Korea, notably as part of its efforts to acquire weapons, against a backdrop of security concerns following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The ministers will address a variety of topics, including bilateral relations and cooperation within the international community.
