The Forum Entreprises Défense (FED) 2023, a major event in the defence and security field, will be held on 4 and 5 October at Versailles Satory. This important event brings together key figures from industry and the state in the field of land equipment maintenance. Sponsored by the Minister of the Armed Forces, the FED serves as a platform for exchanges between companies and defence bodies, while showcasing innovations and opportunities in the sector.

FED 2023 promises to be a crossroads for exchanges and discussions between companies and defence organisations, attracting nearly 200 exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors. It will offer the chance to explore various sectors and to strengthen knowledge and collaboration around the requirements of land equipment maintenance, which are essential for the armed forces in a constantly changing geopolitical landscape.

This edition will place particular emphasis on employment and training, introducing a new area dedicated to young people. It will showcase the diversity of opportunities available in the land maintenance sector, with 500 positions to fill every year, open to civilians and service members at all levels, spread across the whole of France.

Innovation will also be in the spotlight, notably through the final of the “Innovation Jayat” competition, where various projects will be presented, illustrating the visions and technological advances set to shape the land maintenance of the future.

In addition, FED 2023 will show its solidarity by offering the possibility of making donations to support wounded defence personnel, either on site or via the event’s website. The event is organised by the Integrated Structure for the Operational Readiness of Land Equipment (SIMMT), in collaboration with the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the French Land and Airland Defence and Security Industry Association (GICAT).

Entry to the event is free, with access badges and programmes available online.
